Hello guys and gals.

Maybe some of you have wondered where the name, Nailed It Fish and Chips, comes from?

Well, the story goes a little like this.

When my wife and I were preparing for our sons 1 year birthday, we baked a few cakes and what not. Wife decided to write Nailed It on one of the c...

Fresh Cod caught just off the coast of Jökulsárlón by the fishermen of Hvanney, one of Skinney Thinganes's boats.

Absolutely perfect fish and chips. Perfect crispy batter, soft flaky fish, and golden yellow fries. 10/10!

Was given the chance to have my first batch ever of fish and chips! It was super delicious and filling, I would’t have chosen anywhere else to have my first fish and chips.

Went to try and find this place but the weather meant Karl couldn’t get the van here. Wonderfully he messaged to tell us he would be here the next day. This was the best meal we’ve had in southern Iceland. The chips are hot and tasty and the fish is perfectly cooked with a dark crisp batter. It’s also really well priced for Iceland and is convenient for the glacial lagoon and the diamond beech

Nailed It Fish and Chips was started in the beginning of June 2018 by me, Karl Johann Gudmundsson.

I am an Icelander, living close to the town of Höfn so yes, I am a local.

At Nailed It Fish and Chips you will get delicious, hand battered fresh fish served with a smile. And as stated on my menu, the fish is hand battered with love and care.

My fish of choice is a locally caught Atlantic Cod from a fish producer from my hometown who I used to work for as a fisherman some years ago.
